Beginner Crochet: Floppy Unicorn Plush
Sunday, October 7th from 12-3 pm - TWO SPOTS AVAILABLE AGAIN!
Sunday, November 11th from 12-3pm (SOLD OUT)
Instructor: Megan Fiscus
In this class we will make an adorable Unicorn! Too cute! We'll learn casting on, a magic circle, chain stitch, single crochet, increasing, decreasing, casting off, color changing, attaching, and adding details.
Materials: To complete this project, you will need
- One small skein of worsted weight white yarn. Keep in mind that if you want your creation to be washable and maintain it's crocheted look, do not choose wool. You can choose wool and felt your creation afterward if you like (we can discuss this process).
- A small amount of light grey worsted weight yarn, or any color you like, really, for the hooves
- Small amounts of worsted weight yarn in various colors for the hair(maybe you have some remnants left over from previous projects?)
- A size G crochet hook
- A yarn needle
- One set, Medium sized Safety Eyes
-Poly-fil (this is found in the upholstery/pillow area of most craft stores)
